Discs 11, 12 and 13 are a collection of 3 Buddy and Friends CDs. These tracks are a straight copy of Purple Chick - PC 7/1-33 and PC 8/1-32, but with the following changes:

- The versions of Starlight and Believe Me by Jack Huddle (PC 7/22 & PC 7/23) removed and replaced with the 2 versions of each (4 tracks) taken from Not Fade Away: Buddy Holly 1957 -The Complete Recordings

- Dallas Boogie & One in a Million by Sonny Curtis (PC 7/9 & PC 7/10) removed.

- The two versions of Sugartime (PC 7/30 & PC 7/31) replaced with the three versions from Not Fade Away: Buddy Holly 1957 -The Complete Recordings.

These 66 tracks are then split into three discs:

This is a collection of alternative and experimental mixes of Buddy Holly tracks, all mixed after his death. It is by no means exhaustive, as it would be possible to duplicate large parts of the first 13 discs here, but it gives a flavour of what has been done. As such is is completely surplus to requirements, and has little legitimacy. Only tracks 1-10 have any real claim as being authentic Buddy Holly, the rest are all either fan-mixed experimental tracks, or faux-stereo tracks which are really mono with a little artificial processing added to make them sound like true stereo.
